This fine double barrel "dual bore" shotgun was almost certainly made originally in Germany, as the "small" or "wrist" of the wood stock had been carved into a "Wild Boar's Head," a black forest tradition. The gun measures 38" in overall length with 22 3 4" barrels. Interestingly, the right barrel is 12 bore, while the left is 16 bore. The back action percussion locks to each side totally unmarked, the butt with left
