In the 1970s, Warhol focused on linking art and commerce. Throughout his career as a commercial artist and later as a fine artist, the relationship between money and his artworks continued to be a focus for Warhol. In 1981, Warhol created the dollar sign series, which has since become one of Warhol's most iconic
